    Solution :

     Let, the age of Ram's uncle = x years. \[\therefore \]   Ram's age today \[=\,(x-40)\] years So, \[(x-5)=5(x-40-5)\] \[(x-5)\,=5x-5\times 45\] \[\Rightarrow \,\,5x-x=5\times 45-5\] \[\Rightarrow \,4x=220\Rightarrow x=55\] So, Ram's uncle age after 10 years = \[\mathbf{(55+10)=65}\]years.
