    If 3 tan \[\theta \]= 4, then the value of  \[\frac{4\sin \,\theta -3\,\cos \,\theta }{3\sin \,\theta +2\cos \,\theta }\] is

    A)  \[\frac{18}{7}\]

    B)  \[\frac{7}{18}\]

    C)  \[\frac{25}{18}\]

    D)  \[\frac{18}{25}\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

     \[3\,\tan \theta =4\Rightarrow \tan \theta =\frac{4}{3}\] \[\therefore \]Expression = \[\frac{4\,\sin \theta -3\cos \theta }{3\tan \theta +2\cos \theta }\] \[=\frac{4\tan \theta -3}{3\,\tan \theta +2}\] [Dividing numerator and denominator by cos \[\theta \]] \[=\frac{4\times \frac{4}{3}-3}{3\times \frac{4}{3}+2}\] \[=\frac{\frac{16}{3}-3}{4+2}=\frac{16-9}{3\times 6}=\frac{7}{18}\]
