    Solution :

     Rate upstream of boat \[=\frac{75}{3}=25\]kmph Rate downstream of boat \[=\frac{60}{1.5}=40\]kmph \[\therefore \] Speed of boat in still water\[=\frac{1}{2}(25+40)\] \[=\left( \frac{1}{2}\times 65 \right)kmph\] \[=32.5\,kmph\]
