    Solution :

    (b) Total consumption of wheat = (600+800+550+600+750) kg. = 3300 kg. Average consumption = \[\frac{3300}{5}\] = 660 kg. Average consumption of sugar = \[\frac{600+550+350+500+500}{5}\] kg. = \[\frac{2500}{5}\]=500 kg. Required difference = 660 - 500 = 160 kg.
