    Solution :

    The time period of simple pendulum is given by                                 \[T=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{l}{g}}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{\Delta T}{T}=\frac{1}{2}\frac{\Delta \,l}{l}\]          (differentiating) Given,       \[\frac{\Delta \,l}{l}=\] 21% \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{\Delta T}{T}=\frac{1}{2}\times 21%=10.5%\]
