                    Anticodon is present on:

    A)                                                                                                                                         r-RNA

    B)                 t-RNA

    C)                 mt-DNA

    D)                 m-RNA

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

The basic structure (clover leaf, 2D) of t-RNA contains 3 loops and one lump.  The \['{{C}_{3}}'\] arm is called acceptor arm.                 It has C?C?A at its one end that accepts amino acid and form aminoacyl t-RNA.                 \[T\,\psi C\] loop (or ribosomal binding site) binds with the ribosome.                 Anticodon   loop   has   three   specific   base sequences making the code. This code pairs with the codon present on the m-RNA.                 DHU loop binds amino acid synthetase. This is made up of 8-12 bases.                 A lump is present between \[T\,\psi C\] loop and anticodon loop.
