    [c] & [d]: In males, testosterone is responsible for the secondary sexual characters such as changes in internal and external genitalia, body conformation, deeper voice, enlargement of larynx, hair growth etc. While in females, estrogen is responsible for the secondary sexual characters such as breast enlargement, increasing libido, development of acne, increasing uterine muscle mass and blood flow, growth of ovarian follicles and increasing the mortality of uterine tubes. It is also responsible for proliferative phase of menstrual cycle.
