    A)  afferent arteriole

    B)  efferent arteriole

    C)  renal artery

    D)  arcuate artery

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

Nephron is the structural and functional unit of kidney. It is made up of glomerulus and renal tubule, A branch of renal artery from dorsal aorta called afferent arterioles enter into Bowmans capsule and divide into blood capillaries, forming a network called glomerulus. From glomerulus network of efferent arterioles (narrow than afferent arteriole) further form numerous peritubular capillaries in the cortex region, which surrounds the PCT and DCT of nephrons.
