    Solution :

                    \[F=\frac{(m({{v}_{1}}-{{v}_{2}})}{t}\]                 \[=\frac{140\times {{10}^{-3}}(39+39)}{12\times {{10}^{-3}}}\]                 \[=\frac{1400\times 78}{12}\]                 = 9100 N
