    Solution :

    We have, \[v=\frac{v+{{v}_{s}}}{v-{{v}_{s}}}v\] or            \[2f=\frac{v+{{v}_{s}}}{v-{{v}_{s}}}f\]  or           \[2(v-{{v}_{s}})=v+{{v}_{s}}\] or            \[2v-2{{v}_{s}}=v+{{v}_{s}}\] \[\therefore \]  \[v=3{{v}_{s}}\] or            \[{{v}_{s}}=\frac{v}{3}\]
