Basidiocarp is a massive structure which consists of a stalk like portion the stipe supporting at the top a broad umbrella shaped cap the pileus. Algae are simple thallose autotrophic, non-vascular plants having unicelled sex-organs and no embryo formation. Seed is mature integumented megasporangium.
