                                                                                          Using the relation \[\frac{1}{f}=(\mu -1)\left( \frac{1}{{{R}_{1}}}-\frac{1}{{{R}_{2}}} \right)\] (\[\because \] \[{{R}_{2}}=\infty \] due to plane face) or       \[\frac{1}{f}=(1.6-1)\left( \frac{1}{60}-\frac{1}{\infty } \right)\] or      \[\frac{1}{f}=0.6\times \frac{1}{60}=0.01\] or      \[f=\frac{1}{0.01}=100cm\]
