A voltmeter has a range is 0 - V with, a series resistance R and    with a series resistance 2R, the range is 0-V. The relation between V and V will be :

    A) \[V<2V\]

    B) \[V>>V\]

    C) V > 2V

    D)  V = 2V

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

                    Initial range of voltmeter = 0 series resistance = R                 \[V={{i}_{g}}(R+G)\] Similarly \[V={{i}_{g}}(2R+G)\]                 \[\frac{V}{V}=\frac{R+G}{(2R+G)}\]                 \[\frac{V}{2V}=\frac{(2R+G)}{2(R+G)}\] \[\therefore \]  \[V<2V\]
