    \[\because \]Length of sub tangent \[=\frac{y}{\left( \frac{dy}{dx} \right)}\] and length of subnormal \[=y\frac{dy}{dx}\] \[\therefore \]Product of subtangent and subnormal                 \[=\frac{y}{\left( \frac{dy}{dx} \right)}.y\frac{dy}{dx}={{y}^{2}}\]
