    Solution :

    Let a and b be the first term and common difference of an AP. According to the given condition, \[a+23d=100\]                 ...(i) And \[{{S}_{47}}=\frac{47}{2}[2a+46d]=47[a+23d]\] \[=47\times 100=4700\]                   (from (i))
