    Given: Length of the axle \[l=1.5\,m\] The magnetic field \[B=0.2\times {{10}^{-4}}\]tesla The speed of the train\[~=\text{ }180\text{ km/hour}\] \[=180\times \frac{5}{18}=50\,m/s\] From the formula e. m. f. is given by \[E=B\upsilon l\] \[=0.2\times {{10}^{-4}}\times 50\times 1.5\] \[=1.5\times {{10}^{-3}}=1.5\,mV\]
