    Solution :

    Since tangent is parallel to \[y=2x-\frac{1}{2}\] \[\therefore \] equation of tangent is \[y=2x+\lambda \] The point of tangency will be the point of intersections of tangent and curve but in the given options only option  satisfied the equation of curve, then (2, 8) will be the point of tangency.
