    Solution :

    Here,                 \[v\propto {{r}^{2}}\] \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{{{v}_{1}}}{{{v}_{2}}}=\frac{r_{1}^{2}}{{{8}^{2/3}}.\,\,{{r}^{2}}}\]                 \[\frac{10}{{{v}_{2}}}=\frac{1}{4}\]                 \[{{v}_{2}}=40\,cm/s\]
