    D)  A = citrulline, B = arginine, C = fumaric acid

    Correct Answer: D

In ornithine cycle a molecule of ammonia combines with \[C{{O}_{2}}\]in mitochondria   to   form   carbamyl phosphate which reacts with ornithine producing citrulline [A]. Citrulline by accepting   another  \[NH_{4}^{+}\] produce arginosuccinate    which    releases fumarate [C] giving rise to arginine [B].
