    By using      \[v=v\left[ \frac{v-{{v}_{0}}}{v-{{v}_{s}}} \right]\] \[2v=v\left[ \frac{v-{{v}_{0}}}{v-0} \right]\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[{{v}_{0}}=-v.\] Negative sign indicates that observer is moving opposite to the direction of velocity of sound.
