    When nitrogen and hydrogen in the ratio of \[1:3\] are mixed at high temperature \[(750K),\] \[200-250\text{ }atm\]pressure and in the presence of \[Fe\]and \[Mo,\]ammonia is obtained. This process is called Haber's process. \[{{N}_{2}}(g)+3{{H}_{2}}(g)2N{{H}_{3}}(g)\] In this process finely divided iron \[(Fe)\] acts as catalyst and molybdenum  \[(Mo)\]acts as catalyst promoter.
