    Solution :

                    Opium is dried latex of unripe capsule of White poppy (Papaver somniferum). It has narcotic, analgesic and sedative effect. Morphine is white crystalline, bitter narcotic principal alkaloid of opium. It is used in medicine as hydrochloride or sulphate to dull pain, sedation and induce sleep. LSD (Acid, lysergide) D-lysergic acid diethyl amide-15 is crystaline amidated alkaloid derived from ergot, an extract got from fruiting body of fungus Claviceps purpurea. Amphitamines (Alpha methyl phenyl ethyl amines) are synthetic activators of sympathetic nerves bringing about increased activity and alter-ness. Barbiturates are derivatives of barbituric acid, a chemical formed from urea and melonic acid.
