                    \[\frac{x+y}{x-y}=\frac{5}{2}\Rightarrow 2x+2y=5x-5y\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[8y=3x\] \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{x}{y}=\frac{8}{3}\]
