If the Plancks constant, \[h=6.6\times {{10}^{-34}}Js,\] the de-Broglies wavelength of a particle having moment of \[3.3\times {{10}^{-24}}kg\text{ }m{{s}^{-1}}\] will be:

    A)  \[500\overset{\text{o}}{\mathop{\text{A}}}\,\]

    B)  \[2\overset{\text{o}}{\mathop{\text{A}}}\,\]

    C)  \[0.5\overset{\text{o}}{\mathop{\text{A}}}\,\]

    D)  \[0.02\overset{\text{o}}{\mathop{\text{A}}}\,\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

                    \[\lambda =\frac{h}{m\upsilon }\] Here,   \[h=6.6\times {{10}^{-34}}Js\]and momentum \[m\upsilon =3.3\times {{10}^{-24}}kg\,m\,{{\sec }^{-1}}\] Thus      \[\lambda =\frac{6.6\times {{10}^{-34}}}{3.3\times {{10}^{-24}}}\]                 \[=2\times {{10}^{-10}}m=2\overset{\text{o}}{\mathop{\text{A}}}\,\]
