    Solution :

    Position of nth minima \[{{y}_{n}}=\frac{n\lambda D}{d}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[({{y}_{3}}-{{y}_{1}})=\frac{\lambda D}{d}(3-1)=\frac{2\lambda D}{d}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[3\times {{10}^{-3}}=\frac{2\times 6000\times {{10}^{-10}}\times 0.5}{d}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[d=0.2\times {{10}^{-3}}m=0.2mm\]
