    Solution :

                    For each half, mass is half and length is half                 As,               \[\begin{align}   &  \\  & I\frac{m{{l}^{2}}}{\begin{align}   & 12 \\  &  \\ \end{align}} \\ \end{align}\]                 \[\therefore \]  I becomes \[\frac{1}{8}th\]                 Also, M becomes half                 As            \[t=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{I}{MB}}\]                 \[\therefore \] T becomes,\[\sqrt{\frac{1/8}{1/2}\,}\] time = \[\frac{1}{2}\] time                 New time period \[=\frac{1}{2}\times 4s=2s\]
