     As we know that \[\frac{1}{\lambda }=R\left( \frac{1}{n_{1}^{2}}-\frac{1}{n_{2}^{2}} \right)\] For Balmer series, \[{{n}_{1}}=2,{{n}_{2}}=3,4.......\] Corresponding to series limit, \[{{n}_{2}}=\infty \] \[\frac{1}{\lambda }=R\left( \frac{1}{4}-\frac{1}{{{\infty }^{2}}} \right)\Rightarrow \lambda =\frac{4}{R}\]
