                    At LHS (oxidation) \[2\times (Ag\xrightarrow[{}]{{}}A{{g}^{+}}+{{e}^{-}})\]\[E_{ox}^{o}=-x\] At RHS (reduction) \[C{{u}^{2+}}+2{{e}^{-}}\xrightarrow[{}]{{}}Cu\] \[E_{red}^{o}=+y\] \[\underline{\overline{2Ag+C{{u}^{2+}}\xrightarrow[{}]{{}}Cu+2A{{g}^{+}},E_{cell}^{o}=(y-x)}}\] Note:\[E{}^\circ \]values remain constant when half-cell equation is multiplied/divided.
