    Solution :

    The resultant force is given by                 \[R=\sqrt{{{A}^{2}}+{{B}^{2}}+2AB\cos \theta }\] Given,   \[A=2N,\,\,B=2N,\,\,\theta ={{60}^{o}}\] \[\therefore \]          \[R=\sqrt{{{2}^{2}}+{{2}^{2}}+2\times 2\times 2\cos {{60}^{o}}}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[R=\sqrt{16+4}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[R=\sqrt{20}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[R=2\sqrt{5}N\]
