     Myocardium consists of cardiac muscles, resembling the striated muscles structurally and smooth muscles functionally. Myocardium is the middle layer. It contains epicardium on outside and endocardium toward inside. Brain and spinal cord are surrounded by three meninges   (duramater,   arachnoid   and piamater) in mammals. Lungs is enclosed in two membranes called pleurae outer is parietal pleura and inner covering membrane which closely covers the lung is called visceral pleura. The capsule enclosing testes of mammal is called, tunica albuginea.
