    Solution :

      \[{{v}^{2}}-{{u}^{2}}=2gh\] \[0-{{\left( 48 \right)}^{2}}=2\left( -32 \right)h\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[h=\frac{2304}{64}\]=36 \[\therefore \]The greatest height \[=64+36=100\] meters
