    Solution :

    From the formula \[\frac{{{E}_{s}}}{{{E}_{p}}}=\frac{{{N}_{s}}}{{{N}_{p}}}\] so,          \[{{E}_{s}}=\frac{{{N}_{s}}}{{{N}_{p}}}\times {{E}_{p}}=\frac{10}{200}\times 240=12\,volt\]
