     Eukaryotic mRNA is called monocistronic, ie, formed from one gene. These have been described to contain only one initiation site, who gave one mRNA-one polypeptide chain hypothesis. The terminator codon is present on mRNA molecule, which stops the formation of a polypeptide chain at that point. The three termination codons are UGA, UAA and UAG.
