     For diffraction from single slit, angular position of nearest minima \[d\sin \theta =1\times \lambda \] \[\theta ={{\sin }^{-1}}\left( \frac{\lambda }{d} \right)\] If\[\lambda =d,\] \[\theta =\frac{\pi }{2}\] The central maxima expands from\[\frac{\pi }{2}\]to\[\frac{\pi }{2}\]. Therefore, no image or picture of slit will be obtained while screen will get illuminated.
