    Solution :

     The equation of line AB perpendicular to \[x+2y-8=0\]is \[2x-y+\lambda =0\] It passes through the point B (3,5). \[\therefore \] \[2\times 3-5+\lambda =0\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[\lambda =-1\] \[\therefore \]Equation of AB is\[2x-y-1=0\Rightarrow 2x-y=1\] Hence, point (1, 1) satisfy this equation.
