    Solution :

    According to rule for flowing of liquid. product of area and velocity is same \[{{A}_{1}}{{\upsilon }_{1}}={{A}_{2}}{{\upsilon }_{2}}\] \[\frac{{{\upsilon }_{1}}}{{{\upsilon }_{2}}}=\frac{{{A}_{2}}}{{{A}_{1}}}\] \[=\frac{\pi {{r}_{2}}^{2}}{\pi {{r}_{1}}^{2}}={{\left( \frac{{{r}_{2}}}{{{r}_{1}}} \right)}^{2}}=\frac{4}{9}=4:9\]
