    The decomposition of \[CaC{{O}_{3}}\] takes place as below \[\underset{100\,gm}{\mathop{CaC{{O}_{3}}}}\,\xrightarrow{{}}\underset{56\,gm}{\mathop{CaO}}\,+\underset{22.4\,lit}{\mathop{C{{O}_{2}}}}\,\]                 \[\because \]  \[100gm\text{ }CaC{{O}_{3}}\]at STP produce                                                 \[=22.4\text{ }lit\text{ }C{{O}_{2}}\] \[\therefore \] \[20\text{ }gm\] \[CaC{{O}_{3}}\] at STP produce                                                 \[=\frac{22.4}{100}\times 20\]                                                 \[=4.48\text{ }lit\text{ }C{{O}_{2}}\]
