    Solution :

    Here the tension in the cord is given by \[T=mg+ma\] (Here: upwards acceleration = a. mass of sphere \[=m,T=4\,ma)\] So,          \[4mg\,=mg+ma\]                                 \[3mg=ma\]                                      \[g=\frac{a}{3}\] or                    \[a=3g\]
