    Solution :

    Force on the block,\[F=u\left( \frac{dm}{dt} \right)\]                                                 \[=5\times 1=5N\] \[\therefore \]Acceleration of block,\[a=\frac{F}{M}=\frac{5}{2}=2.5\,\,m/{{s}^{2}}\]
