    Solution :

    Let two digit number is \[10x+y\] Then,    x+y=8             ... (1) And \[10x+y-18=10y+x\] \[9x-9y=18\] \[x-y=2\]           .... (2) On solving eqns. (1) and (2) \[x=5\] and \[y=3\] Hence, the number is 53.
