    Let the number is x, then? \[\frac{3}{8}x\sim \frac{2}{7}x=50\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[21x\sim 16x=50\times 8\times 7\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[5x=50\times 8\times 7\] \[\therefore \]      \[x=560\]
