    Describe the circumstances that led to the unveiling of Griffin's invisibility.

    Answer:

    The Invisible Man was following Kemp. Kemp ran towards Burdock where there were labourers. He yelled about the approaching invisible man. Everybody got ready with shovels to hit the invisible man. As Griffin grabbed Kemp, they all knocked him down. A big fight ensued. A wild scream rented the sky-Mercy! It slowly died down. Griffin the invisible man was probably dead.             Slowly the dead invisible man started becoming visible. His body parts were badly smashed. His features looked horrible.

    Dunstan met a pathetic end by drowning in the stone pit near Silar Marner?s cottage. His skeleton was discovered after it lay trapped between two stones for sixteen years.             Along with his body many things were recovered. The night when Dunstan had stolen the bags of gold was a misty night with low visibility. He must have tried to escape hurriedly. In the rush, he must not have noticed the pit and fallen accidently into it. This area was not visited by anyone. So, no rescue reached him and he drowned with the stolen gold. When the pit was drained, it revealed the lonely and painful end of Dunstan.
