    Answer:

      (i) \[PbS(s)+4{{H}_{2}}{{O}_{2}}(aq)\to PbS{{O}_{4}}(s)+4{{H}_{2}}O(l)\] In this reaction, \[{{H}_{2}}{{O}_{2}}\] acts as an oxidising agent and provides oxygen to PbS as to convert it into\[PbS{{O}_{4}}\]. (ii) \[CO+3{{H}_{2}}\xrightarrow[Catayst]{Cobalt}C{{H}_{3}}OH\] In this reaction, \[{{H}_{2}}\] acts as a reducing agent.
