Explain how water becomes a renewable resource.

    Answer:

The freshwater is obtained from surface run-off and groundwater that is continually being renewed and recharged through the hydrological cycle. Its processes are: Evaporation: The water in the oceans or seas, which is salty water, gets evaporated with the solar energy. (ii) Condensation: The minute particles which get evaporated, get condensed in the atmosphere with dust particles and pollens present in the atmosphere. They then form clouds. (iii) Precipitation: When saturation takes place, it precipitates in the form of rain, hail or snow. It later on forms the surface run-off water which again joins the sea. This cycle of evaporation, condensation and precipitation  is called the hydrological cycle. All water moves within the hydrological cycle ensuring that water is a renewable resource.
