How are p, s and t-amines separated from a mixture of amines?

    Answer:

p, s and t amines are separated using H in sberg reagent. The mixture of p, s and t amines are reacted with benzene sulphonyl chloride. 1° and 2° amines reacts but 3° does not react. Hence 3° amines are separated. Now, the mixture of 1° and 2° amides are mixed in alkali the amide which is soluble is 1° and which does not dissolve is 2° amide. These amides on hydrolysis give corresponding amines.
