In the circuit\[~R=30\text{ }\Omega \] In the circuit\[{{X}_{L}}=25\,\Omega \] In the circuit \[{{X}_{C}}\text{ }=25\,\Omega \] In the circuit A.C. voltage and frequency = 240 volt, 50 Hz    (Given) The value of \[i\] is given by from the relation                \[i=\frac{V}{\sqrt{{{F}^{2}}+{{({{X}_{L}}+{{X}_{C}})}^{2}}}}=\frac{V}{R}=\frac{240}{30}=8\,\text{amp}\text{.}\]
