                    Clusters of crystals of calcium carbonate found in leaves ,of member belonging to families- Acantlfiaceae, piLicurbitaceae, Urticaceae, Banyan leaf, etc., called cystoliths. These cluster give appearence of grapes hanging from a stalk, attached to cell wall. Aggregation of crystals of calcium oxalate are known as sphaeraphides. Raphides are needle shaped crystals of calcium oxalate occurring in. bundles. Otoliths is granule of calcium carbonate in vertebratessinner ear.
