Explain the effect of increasing the temperature of a liquid, on intermolecular forces operating between its particles, what will happen to the viscosity of a liquid if its temperature is increased?

    Answer:

Intermolecular force of liquid decreases with increase in temperature. Viscosity of liquid decreases with increase in temperature since the kinetic energy overcomes the intermolecular force. At higher temperature fluidity of liquid increases.
