Entire fleet of public transport including autorikshaws, buses, etc. were switched over from diesel to less-polluting and more eco-friendly fuel Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). • Bharat stage-II (Euro-II) norms were implemented in Delhi and NCR region. • 5% Ethanol-blended petrol was launched in January 2003. • Earlier in 1997, the Delhi Government banned the plying of those vehicles which were more than 15 years old. • Unleaded petrol and low-sulphur diesel are being used in the automobiles.
