Do you think Umherto Eco liked being interviewed? Give reasons for your opinion.

In my opinion, Umberto, Eco was comfortable, confident and at ease when he was being interviewed. He disagreed with Mukund who asked him about his varied interests saying that he was doing 'the same thing'; He joked about being able to write an article by the time the lift reached the third floor from the first. He corrected Mukund that he had published not merely 20 non-fiction works but 40 of them. He joked about the popularity of novels saying that he watched television at 9 p.m. after dinner, to see either 'Miami Vice' or 'Emergency Room for an easy experience as he enjoyed it and needed it but not for all day long. He said that he often told stories like a Chinese wise man. He was candid enough to admit that it was a mystery why The Name of the Rose was successful.
